Yolanda Partida brings 25 years of experience in public and private health administration as national program director for Hablamos Juntos, an initiative that examines language barriers to health care for Latinos. She has worked with and on behalf of many different groups of underserved populations, including the uninsured, the U.S.-Mexico border population, and other ethnic communities.

Dr. Needleman is a professor at the UCLA School of Public Health. He was previously an assistant professor at the Harvard School of Public Health for eight years and, for 17 year, vice president of Lewin/ICF (now The Lewin Group), a Washington, D.C. health policy research and consulting firm. He has conducted research on nurse staffing and quality of care, the health workforce, the future of public hospitals, nonprofit and for-profit health care, access to care for mental health and chronic illness.

Christopher Perrone is deputy director of the California HealthCare Foundation's Health Reform and Public Programs Initiative. Previously, he was senior program officer for the foundation's Public Financing and Policy Program, which works to develop solutions to problems in publicly funded health care and safety net programs, including Medi-Cal and Healthy Families. Perrone was the director of the foundation's Medi-Cal Policy Institute, which has now been folded in to the Public Financing and Policy Program.
