Linda Civitello, president and CEO of Breathe California, a Daly City-based organization working to reduce the impact of lung disease through prevention, education, advocacy and patient services. As president and CEO, Civitello utilizes her extensive experience in community service, urban planning and government affairs. Before coming to Breathe California, she was founding director of the Tri-Cities Children Center in Alameda County, served as the business and community liaison at the University of California, San Francisco for over 10 years, and was senior vice president of McLaughlin Young Inc., a management-consulting firm, for two years. Civitello holds a master's in political science from San Francisco State University and a B.A. in public administration from Antioch College.
