Biography

Dr. Feero is currently a special advisor to the Director for Genomic Medicine for the Genomic Healthcare Branch, National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI). His interests include the development of electronic, health-record-based tools for genomics in clinical practice, and genomics education for the health professions. Dr. Feero graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a major in molecular biology and a minor in chemistry. He furthered his training in genetics as a student in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he pursued his doctoral work in the Department of Human Genetics in the lab of Eric P. Hoffman, Ph.D.
