Aging in the 21st Century - awarded by AHCJ
The Association of Health Care Journalists awarded an Ethnic Media Fellowship to Aurora S. Cudal to enable her to attend the Workshop
on "Aging in the 21th Century" to be held on October 16-17, 2009 at the University of Miami. She stated in her application that she is inerested in attendig the Workshop for the following reasons:
- To know the current trends and issues about aging and how she could effectively write about these trends and issues.
- To be an effective advocate for older adults on issues that affect them.
- To maximize her influence as a "senior" columnist and writer and how she could make a difference in the lives of her peers.
