About Myself:
Farah Yousry is a health equity reporter with WFYI and Side Effects Public Media based in Indianapolis. Her work is in collaboration with the Indianapolis Recorder, one of the oldest black newspapers in the nation. Her stories are published in the print edition of the Recorder and air on radio across the Midwest on a number of NPR member stations. Some of her work is also heard on national NPR shows like All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Here and Now and Science Friday. Prior to joining WFYI, Farah used to work with the BBC World Service, producing dozens of radio and television features.
