My name is Gabriela Aleman. I’m 23 years old and I was born and raised in San Francisco’s Latino Cultural District. I work at a local nonprofit - Acción Latina, as the Paseo Artístico Art Stroll Coordinator and regularly contribute to El Tecolote, the bilingual community newspaper Acción Latina publishes. In my free time I can be found either practicing or performing with the Nicaraguan Folklorico dance group, Chavalos Danzas por Nicaragua or working on digitial illustrations.
