I have supervised the medical and health reporters at the San Antonio Express-News -- including a medical writer who was awarded a USC/Annenberg Health Journalism Fellowship in 2008 -- since 2006. I have been an editor at the Express-News since 2002 and worked for the Miami Herald beginning in 1978.
