Jose Arballo Jr. is a Murrieta resident who has been involved in news gathering for nearly all his life, and professionally since 1984. Growing up in Chula Vista, he was on his junior high school newspaper staff, where he decided this was the career for him, and stayed with it until being hired as a reporter in Sun City by The Press-Enterprise. He has spent the last 20-plus years reporting and editing news in Riverside County. After leaving the PE in September 2008, Jose decided to try his hand at the new media and joined Southwest Riverside News Network as its first editor.
