Philips livable cities Award 2010: Healthy living in cities - awarded by Philips

Shades in the City will provide much-needed shelter from the torrential rain and searing heat for the local community, particularly breast-feeding mothers, the elderly and people with disabilities. The shade stands will also be used for health education.

James Kityo's Work

Persons living with HIV in Luwero and Nakaseke districts of Uganda have now become involved in the intricate detail of managing their affairs.

Ahead of the third International Conference on Family Planning to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from Nov. 12–15, 2013, people living with HIV in Luwero Uganda have called for all major interventions on family planning while incorporating the concerns of persons living with HIV.
