About Myself:
I practice Elder Law throughout Northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I am a Fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), have served on NAELA's Board of Directors, and am a Charter Member of the Council of Advanced Elder Law Practitioners (CAP). I am an Advisor and a past chairman of the Elder Law & Special Needs Section of the Wisconsin State Bar, and a former chairman of the Elder Law & Disability Rights Section of the Michigan State Bar. I am a regular guest on WNMU PBS Channel 13, Marquette, MI on Elder Law issues. I am also a member of the International Federation on Ageing. I have given Elder Law presentations throughout the United States and Canada, as well as in Europe. My professional life includes private practice, advocacy, public speaking, teaching, research, and writing. I work for systemic change in our health care system, based on my daily experience working with the problems of real people as an Elder Law Attorney.
