About Myself:
I am a science freelancer focusing on science and medicine. I have contributed to NPR, Chemistry & Biology (Cell Press), Nature Biotechnology, Science, the Lancet, and Bio-IT World.
I started writing about innovation in biotechnology and public health several years ago because I wanted to describe the changes I saw happening around me in technology and medical research. I gravitated to healthcare issues because I also wanted to provide more dimensionality to my stories and show the costs and benefits of innovation in everyday life.
