Kent Bottles, M.D., teaches graduate-level classes in health policy at The Thomas Jefferson School of Population Health, delivers keynotes on health care transformation and payment reform, and conducts physician leadership academies for integrated delivery systems. He is the former president and CEO of of the Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI) in the Twin Cities. ICSI is a collaborative of hospitals, physicians, health plans, employers, and patients that concentrate on evidence based medicine, payment reform, process work redesign, and health care reform. Dr. Bottles is a pathologist by training, and he is frequently called upon by hospital associations, bio-tech companies, medical associations, and Health 2.0 organizations to give keynotes on disruptive technologies and the future of medicine.
