Andrew Lam

Andrew Lam is the author of two books of essays, "Perfume Dreams: Reflections on the Vietnamese Diaspora" and "East Eats West: Writing in Two Hemispheres" and a collection of short stories, "Birds of Paradise Lost." A former commentator on NPR's All Things Considered and editor of New America Media, he is currently writing about immigration between the US and Vietnam and working on another book of short stories and a novel.
