Bruce Japsen

Bruce Japsen is a writer and blogger for Forbes on health care policy and business issues. He also contributes health care business and policy stories to the New York Times. Prior to his work for national media, he wrote health care stories for the Chicago Tribune for more than 13 years. He also teaches at Loyola University Chicago. He has more than 20 years of professional journalism experience, including newspaper, TV, radio and Web-based media. He has also been a reporter at Crain's Modern Healthcare magazine, the Dubuque Telegraph Herald and the Des Moines Register, covering everything from Big Ten football and basketball to an Academy Award nominated movie and presidential politics. He is a regular television analyst on WGN, WTTW's Chicago Tonight, and CBS-owned WBBM Newsradio-780 and for the last four years has hosted programming on ReachMD's XM Satellite channel 167.
