For over three decades I have worked in the healthcare field as a researcher and editor, twenty-nine of those years with the independent, nonprofit Consumer Reports. While based in Vermont, I currently am engaged as a research consultant with The Gehr Family Center for Health System Sciences at the USC Keck School of Medicine, working on a patient education project. I have a long-held passion for communication of evidence-based medicine and comparative-effectiveness research which is free of conflict of interest and focuses on improving people's lives.
