Chuleenan Svetvilas

I am a freelance content strategist based in the San Franciscxo Bay Area. Previously, I was the managing editor at California Lawyer where I assigned, edited, and wrote feature stories for this monthly magazine, as well as oversee the book review department and the In Pro Per section (first-person essays by lawyers). 

I am interested in complex legal stories that intersect with the personal, social, and political.

In my previous positions, I have worked as the editor of Release Print, the magazine of Film Arts Foundation and a senior editor at Intelligent Enterprise, a CMP publication.

I have also published reviews and interviews about documentary film for various publications, including Alternet, Documentary, DOX, Mother Jones, and the book Soccer vs. the State (PM Press, 2011).
