Celeste Hamilton Dennis is an independent journalist who covers mental health, aging, and queer and gender issues, with her favorite stories being those that combine the unexpected. Her print and audio work has appeared in NPR’s Code Switch, The San Francisco Chronicle, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, KQED, Documented, MindSite News, and more. Her reporting has been recognized by the Association of Health Care Journalists, Society of Professional Journalists, NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists, and the National Center on Disability and Journalism. She is a two-time Pulitzer Center Fellow.
