L. M. Boyd is a senior reporter for AZPM with a focus on health issues. She has produced award-winning work on public safety, with bylines in The Arizona Republic, Arizona Highways and Arizona Mirror. Her past depth reporting focuses on law enforcement, gun issues and gun policies. Boyd is a master’s graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. She blends narrative storytelling with data-driven reporting, while amplifying underrepresented community voices in southern Arizona.
