Jamie Weisman

I am a dermatologist in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia with a special interest in inflammatory and immune driven skin disorders. I've lectured locally and nationally and been president of both the Atlanta Dermatologic Society and the Georgia Dermatologic Society. I founded Advanced Medical Research ten years ago to help develop new therapeutics for severe autoimmune skin disease. I was born with a congenital immune deficiency, and I chronicled the transition from patient to doctor in my memoir, As I Live and Breathe: Notes from a patient doctor. I also write fiction, and my novel We Are Gathered was published in 2018.
