Julie Drizin directs the Journalism Center on Children & Families (JCCF) at the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism. Drizin is an award-winning producer and editor of local, national and international public radio programs, including NPR's Justice Talking, Democracy Now!, and World Vision Report. At JCCF, Drizin blogs, develops training and other programming, and teaches undergraduate journalism majors about reporting on children, youth and families. Drizin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in communications and women’s studies.
