Nevin Kallepalli is a reporter at the nonprofit newsroom Shasta Scout in Redding, California, where he covers law enforcement, tribal affairs and other issues. He is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and was a post-graduate fellow with the Pulitzer Center where he covered the ongoing conflict in Kashmir. As a freelancer, alongside his work with Shasta Scout, he covers religious nationalism among the Indian diaspora in the United States. Kallepalli also is a California Local News Fellow.
