Birth Control: Now that the new "morning after" contraception pill known as ella is on the market, will pharmacists dispense it? Some may not, according to the Washington Post's The Checkup health blog. 

Health Reform: As the new health health reform law hits its 6-month birthday, President Barack Obama talks to the public about its benefits in a bid to combat misinformation and conservative opposition.

More Health Reform: New America Media's Viji Sundaram examines an intriguing poll of California's ethnic adults that finds many are unaware of the provisions in the new health reform  law.

C-sections: Remember that California Watch story that found more c-sections at for-profit hospitals in the state? Florida Health News did its own analysis and found no such link. Instead, it found higher c-section rates at hospitals in areas with a high number of Hispanic residents, suggesting a cultural phenomenon at play.

Caffeine: A Des Moines bakery has the brilliant idea of baking pharmaceutical-grade caffeine into its brownies. We could use one of those right about now.
