Fatal errors and lack of adequate medical care in immigration detention centers bring suffering to detainees and their families.
According to ICE data, more than 400,000 thousand people are admitted annually in detention centers throughout the U.S. And According to the immigration department it's estimated that 1 in 4 has a chronic medical condition. Detainee medical concerns are supposed to be under the supervision and care of the immigration authorities, but the reality seems to be different.
