Vladimir Araya

Vladimir graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Radio, TV, and Film. After finishing his internship at Telemundo in Los Angeles and doing some freelance work for other stations in the market, he moved to Fresno to work full-time as news producer for Univision. After two years he was promoted to Executive Producer, and then to Assistant News Director. He has won multiple Emmy awards for best newscast, best feature stories, and best sports show. Also, he and his team just won a Golden Mike Award this January for excellence in Journalism.
