Smoking:

Evidence piles up that Big Tobacco companies deliberately hid from consumers – for as many as 40 years – the knowledge that cigarette smoke contained cancer-causing particles, Ryan Jaslow reports for CBS News. In other news, smoking is increasingly becoming a blue-collar habit, national health data show.

Health Insurance: Mothers-to-be say it's difficult to find individual health insurance policies that cover childbirth, Pauline Bartolone reports for Capital Public Radio in California.

Texas Health: While Republican presidential candidate Texas Gov. Rick Perry bashes "Obamacare" and "Romneycare," his own state faces extraordinary health challenges, including the nation's highest uninsured population, that some critics say Perry has done little to improve, Emily Ramshaw reports for the Texas Tribune/New York Times.

Health Reform: The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza examines the politics surrounding the U.S. Supreme Court's almost certain hearing of arguments on the constitutionality of health reform legislation.
