Erika Klein is a graduate student in journalism at USC with a focus on international and health reporting. After receiving her B.A. in international relations from USC, she taught English for two years in Japan as part of the JET Program. She then researched the Japanese and U.S. healthcare systems as a fellow at the Washington, D.C. Reischauer Center. She also worked as an assistant correspondent in the Los Angeles bureau of the Mainichi, one of Japan’s main national newspapers, before returning to USC.
