
Erin Malsbury is an ecologist-turned-journalist with a master’s degree in science communication from UC Santa Cruz. Malsbury currently works part-time with KAZU, the NPR station for the Monterey Bay area, and also does freelance writing. Her favorite stories involve science and the connections between people and their environments. Malsbury has won a SciShortForm Award for institutional writing, five California Journalism Awards and a Public Media Journalists Association Award.
