Jessica Glenza is a senior health reporter with The Guardian US. She writes about medicine, money, politics and the inequalities of the American health system. She is especially interested in reproductive rights, healthcare financing, scientific integrity and the ways race, class and geography impact people’s interactions with the health system. Her work has won multiple awards and honors, including from the National Press Club and the Gracie Awards. She has been with the Guardian since 2014 and previously worked for the Thunderdome, a New York-based newsroom launched by Digital First Media, and the Register-Citizen in Torrington, CT. She is a summa cum laude graduate of SUNY’s Purchase College.
