Reporting Grants and Fellowships
2018 National Fellowship, USC Annenberg Center for Health Jurnalism
Information: Each year we bring 20 journalists from around the country to the USC campus at our expense for five days of intensive discussions, workshops and field trips that focus on community health and vulnerable families. Fellows received reporting grants of $2,000 to $10,000 to support reporting of an ambitous Fellowship topic, plus five receive community engagement grants of $2,000 and six months of expert mentoring.

Carolyn C. Mattingly Award for Mental Health Reporting, The National Press Foundation
Information: The award, which carries a $10,000 prize, is called the Carolyn C. Mattingly Award for Mental Health Reporting, in memory of the Potomac, Maryland philanthropist and activist. Mattingly’s family decided to establish the award in the aftermath of her tragic death in 2014.
