Randall Yip has been founder and editor of AsAmNews, a daily digital news site focused on coverage of the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities since 2012. Until recently he ran the site as a volunteer while also serving as a senior producer at San Francisco television station ABC7, where he worked full-time on the popular consumer franchise 7 On Your Side. Yip has been honored by the Northern California Emmys, the California State Assembly and others.
