Tabitha Mueller is a healthcare and government reporter at The Nevada Independent. Mueller spent a year teaching English in Japan before pursuing a journalism career. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College, where she majored in English and geography with a Japanese minor. In 2023, the Nevada Press Association named her its “Journalist of Merit.”
