Victoria Clayton is an independent journalist in Southern California whose writing on health and family has appeared in The Guardian US, KFF News, The Washington Post, The Atlantic and many other publications. In addition, she's a regular contributor to the California Health Care Foundation blog, writing reported stories on subjects such as fears over losing Medi-Cal especially for the disabled, how encampment sweeps impact the health of the unsheltered and the need for data equity. She was a 2024 Association of Health Care Journalists fellow.
