Ashley Nguyen is a freelance journalist who is pursuing her MPH at the University of Washington. She previously worked at The Washington Post. She was on the founding team for The Lily, a publication of the Post that elevates women's voices. Ashley was a Peace Corps volunteer in Kyrgyzstan and studied journalism at Temple University.
