Health Talk, a Public Art Project
I am exhibiting my public art project at the Santa Monica College, Pete & Susan Barrett Art Gallery. My project, Health Talk, is a spin off of my health column at ASIA, the Journal of Culture and Commerce. The exhibit also shows the work of eight other MFA Otis students.
Health Talk is a public art project to engage the public in a new way of getting information for discusssion and awareness of the issues and concerns surrounding social, political and health issues of individuals. I expanded my field in photography and journalism to community involvement through art. Please join me for the opening reception of our exhibiton on May 1 at the Santa Monica College, Pete & Susan Barrett Art Gallery at 4 - 7 p.m.
