Elizabeth Moss is a freelance reporter with a master’s degree from UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. Moss was a 2024 health reporting fellow with the Journalism and Women Symposium, where she wrote about domestic violence. She's attracted to ambitious reporting projects that reveal or interrogate nuanced policies.
Sacramento County uses Black “cultural brokers” to help Black families navigate CPS and keep kids out of foster care. The program reunites families but is fighting for long-term funding.
