As a human rights activist, I find myself caught between a rock and a hard place concerning the recent ruling on the buffer zone legislation that demonstrators have their rights to demonstrate at or near abortion facilities.
The female condom may not have been as popular as the male condom. The latter has for long been used as a contraceptive and a tool for prevention against HIV infection. There are various reasons persons living with HIV (PLHIV) attribute to this slow response.
The major emphasis of the intervention is the focus on the community. Groups of Persons Living with HIV are within the communities and reach out to pregnant women so as to prevent them from transmitting the virus to their babies.

Persons living with HIV in Luwero and Nakaseke districts of Uganda have now become involved in the intricate detail of managing their affairs.
Persons living with HIV gathered in Uganda to discuss a number of issues, including antiretroviral drug adherence, influence of traditional practices, human rights and jobs.
Ahead of the third International Conference on Family Planning to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from Nov. 12–15, 2013, people living with HIV in Luwero Uganda have called for all major interventions on family planning while incorporating the concerns of persons living with HIV.
