Jenna Mayzouni is a freelance writer with BenitoLink who covers behavioral health, education and other social issues. She was an Authentic Voices 2022 Fellow with the Women’s National Book Association. Her work also has been featured in The Odyssey, Anime Fem and Women’s Republic. Her California Health Equity Fellowship project will explore why youth in San Benito county join criminal gangs and how local communities are addressing the issue.
