Before that, I reported on the demographics of healthcare as a senior writer for the Center for Health Reporting. Previously, I had broad regional and national beat responsibilities in other reporting positions -- in New Orleans as Southern Regional Correspondent at the Associated Press and in New York as Hispanic Affairs reporter at Newsday.
