Basic Information: The aim of the specially developed course, written by science journalists Helen Branswell and Martin Enserink, is to help journalists who are covering the epidemic to better report on this infectious disease. It covers basic knowledge about the virus and the disease, and how to fight it. Chapters were included on where to find trustworthy information, on tips and traps in reporting on Ebola and how to stay safe when being in the field.
