Obama Administration Reassures Courts

Politics: Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. declared that "the power of the courts to review the constitutionality of legislation is beyond dispute," to mollify a federal appeals court judge. The judge had demanded that the president to clarify his assertion that a Supreme Court ruling against the Affordable Care Act would be a "would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step," reports John H. Reform: A report from the Commonwealth Fund found that people paying premiums would have received nearly $2 billion in rebates from insurance companies last year if the Affordable Care Act had gone into effect in 2010.
