I am a full-time reporter covering the Chinese American community in New York City for the Chinese-language newspaper Sing Tao Daily. I have attended a journalism fellowship from New America Media, the Gerontological Society of America and the Commonwealth Fund. I was also a fellow of Open City 2016 program by Asian American Writers' Workshop. In 2017, I won the second place of the Best Photograph of the 15th annual Ippies Awards. I like running, skiing and rock climbing. I worked as a volunteer during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, and wrote two articles for the People's Daily, the biggest newspaper in China. I have also written for the Beijing-based Southern Metropolis Daily and the Chinese news agency, Xinhua.
