Cindy Goodman is a veteran journalist, former business writer, and currently a health reporter for the South Florida Sun Sentinel. She provided critical health information to residents throughout the pandemic and exposed suppression of data that hid COVID deaths. Goodman also has covered high-profile health topics in Florida including abortion restrictions, the monkeypox outbreak, a Hepatitis A outbreak, and the youth mental health crisis. She has a bachelor's and a master's degree in journalism from the University of Florida.
