Dayanna Monroy joined Univision’s 24-hour news program as an anchor in June 2023. She has 12 years of experience in television and radio, previously working for Teleamazonas in Ecuador. There, Dayana specialized in journalistic investigations of international impact. Her shows were broadcast in Spain, China and the U.S. She has collaborated with Argentine, Peruvian and Bolivian media to produce stories that crossed geographical lines. Dayanna was awarded the International Women of Courage Award by the U.S. Department of State. She has a master’s degree in Spanish TV and radio production from the University of Madrid, and a master’s in strategic communication from Ecotec University in Ecuador.
