Frank Gluck reports on the health care industry for The (Fort Myers, Fla.) News-Press, a Gannett Co. newspaper in Southwest Florida. He has also written for newspapers in Sarasota, Fla., Cedar Rapids, Iowa and St. Louis. He has won awards for his human-interest reporting in Iowa and for coverage of health care in Florida. Gluck grew up in St. Louis and has a journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He will investigate how Alzheimer’s disease is affecting Southwest Florida’s hospitals, nursing homes and families. The region, a retirement destination, is home to an estimated 25,000 Alzheimer’s patients.
