Michell Eloy

My name is Michell Eloy, and I'm currently a line editor for KCRW's Press Play, an hour-long daily news magazine show on one of the LA NPR stations. I am a Center for Health Journalism 2018 California Fellow. Prior to moving to LA, I covered community health and health care policy for WABE, Atlanta's NPR station. While there, I was also part of NPR and Kaiser Health News' team of reporters covering health issues in the states. I'm a proud graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I grew up in central Illinois, and Chicago is my home away from home. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, hiking and cooking. Since moving to California, I've been trying to learn how to surf. It's going poorly.
