For this undocumented woman, Uncovered California series spurs timely help

We met Rosa Franco six months ago, when she was desperate for medical help due to cysts and a hernia. When we returned to her home today, she was more optimistic because her hernia has been removed and she is in the process of having surgery for her cysts. Her case became known thanks to the Uncovered California project, and she was able to get help and guidance through the nonprofit organization Centro La Familia.
