Max Filby is an investigative reporter at The Columbus Dispatch where he has reported on everything from abusive doctors to the mishandling of missing persons cases and dangerous fair rides. He was a semifinalist for the 2025 Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting and won a 2023 Sigma Delta Chi award in local investigative reporting from the Society of Professional Journalists.
